Our Solution
SunCap delivered a two-story build-to-suit project on a difficult site with municipal challenges. SunCap and its consultants employed a highly technical process to mitigate environmental conditions that were in place prior to acquisition of the land. The project was delivered on schedule with an aggressive 15-month timeline.

- Ventilation system for interior vehicle parking (second-story parking for 225 vehicles)
- The site of this facility was used previously as a copper smelting plant and a bulk sulfuric acid distribution facility, with the land sitting fallow for decades while the New York City Department of Environmental Protection determined how to handle the contamination on the site. Much of the soil on this site, and across New York City, is poor quality, requiring design of very technical process that took nearly eight months to devise.
